Ecoglass: Automatic closing of laboratory fume cupboard after detection of inactivity

The ECOGLASS energy-saving system makes it possible to secure a fume cupboard by automatically closing its movable facade after detecting inactivity.

A detection barrier detects the activity of a laboratory technician and the presence of objects in the plane of the movable facade. The ECOGLASS controller converts inactivity for a pre-programmed period into an automatic descent instruction.

A magnetic compensator releases the movable facade and controls its descent until the end of its travel. It is a safety device to interrupt the descent in the event of activity or the presence of an object. The control switch allows the laboratory technician to disengage the magnetic compensator to effortlessly manipulate the movable facade.

Automatic closing

 After a configurable period of inactivity, regardless of the initial position of the window, it is closed to its lowest point. The detection barrier can be installed on the facade or recessed.

Inactivity sensor

Movement generated by an imbalance of weight between the moving facade and its counterweight.

Without motorization

ECOGLASS allows handling under tension or without the fume cupboard and ensures that the glass is held in position.

Facility

Different configurations are possible depending on the position of the counterweight and the type of drive (compatible with cable or belt drive).
